Hero411 Warm-line for Caregivers of Veterans
Heroes 411 is a peer-to-peer warm-line for Caregivers of wounded warfighters. We would like to make a correction to the news story. We are at this time currently not operating 24/7, we are hoping to be able to do this at a future time.
Evansville, IN (WFIE) – A Tri-State organization is now heading up a 24/7 hotline to help military veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, as well as their caregivers.
It’s called a “warm-line” and the new venture is being started by the organization “Military with PTSD.”
Organizers just moved into their new location on First Avenue in Evansville. And the hotline is already gaining success, less than 24 hours after being launched.
Resolve of a Caregiver
What does the Resolve of a Caregiver video series teach and how can they help?
The educational videos on Resolve of a Caregiver are designed to identify many of the feelings and struggles caregivers and vets experience while outlining the dynamics of relationship struggles we face. They help establish healthy boundaries, promote self care for caregivers just like with the home care system for senior and elder care in the USA and Canada while emphasizing perception and understanding to empower you as the caregiver to assist in the healing process for your Vet. The focus remains on you the caregiver and helping you build “Team We” with your veteran and promotes the healing process.
